LINCOLN — Morgan Allen was recently a winner in the four-year college division of the "Make It Happen - Student Quick Pitch Competition” held Feb. 25 and hosted by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship in partnership with the Southeast Community College Entrepreneurship Center and the Entrepreneurship Focus High School Program.

Students from a variety of Nebraska high schools, two-year colleges, and four-year colleges entered the competition and were selected and invited to present their pitches, be evaluated and receive feedback on the effectiveness of their pitch from a panel of entrepreneurially-minded experts from across Nebraska. Located in the Skybox Suites of Memorial Stadium, the competition gave these Nebraska students an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial, communication and presentation skills through a short "quick pitch” proposal for a new business venture. Competitors were allowed only three minutes to effectively communicate their proposal to a panel of judge
