Mason City, IA – Nov. 2, 2009 - In conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, the North Iowa Area Community College John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center will sponsor Ask the Experts, an open house forum from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by the Entrepreneurs’ Exchange, Can Customers Find You Online?, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., on Tuesday, November 17. Both events are FREE to the public and will be held on the NIACC campus.

Ask the Experts will provide answers to questions about everything entrepreneurial and will be in an open house format. If you’re thinking of starting a business and need to talk to an expert about your idea, or have questions on funding, financials, legal, accounting, marketing, patents or trademarks, plan to attend Ask the Experts. Tours of the JPEC Business Incubator, which will be offered on a 15-minute interval, will be available during the open house. Come for the Ask the Experts open house and stay for the Entrepreneurs’ Exchange, Can Customers Find You Online?

In today’s market if you’re not findable on-line, then you’re invisible. To test this theory, ask yourself where do you look for information? If the answer is Google, then this presentation is for you! The NIACC Entrepreneurs’ Exchange, Can Customers Find You Online?, will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in McAllister Hall, Room 104G, on the NIACC campus. There is no charge to attend this event. During the FREE Entrepreneurs’ Exchange, Doug Mitchell will help you figure out how search engine optimization can work for your business and help customers find you online.

On November 17, celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week by attending the Ask the Experts open house from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Pappajohn Center and staying for the Entrepreneurs’ Exchange in McAllister Hall, Room 104G, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on the NIACC campus.

To ensure adequate space and refreshments, RSVPs for both events are appreciated.  For vendors who market goods or services, a limited number of FREE display tables are available.  Please email or call Liz at 641-422-4384 or toll-free at 1-888-GO NIACC, ext. 4384.
