SPRINGFIELD, MA – April 2, 2009 -- The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) has announced a new series of hour-long webinars available to members and non-members. The series, which will run through the spring and summer, covers topics of interest to anyone who is involved in providing entrepreneurial education programs at community colleges. The webinars are free to NACCE members and cost $39 per webinar for nonmembers. Each begins at 4:00 p.m. ET.

“The response to our first webinar last fall was so positive we decided to create an entire series,” says Heather Van Sickle, executive director of NACCE.  “In the current economy it is a great value to be able to attend professional programs right at your desktop without incurring traveling or additional expenses.”

The NACCE spring-summer webinar series includes:

April 15 – “Web 2.0H! The How To’s of a Social Media Marketing Strategy to Increase Enrollment”

April 22 – “The Case for Entrepreneurship Education at Community Colleges”

April 28 – “Entrepreneurship: Certificate or Associate Degrees & Credit/Non-Credit”

May 6 – “How to Infuse Entrepreneurship Across Campus”

May 13 – “How to Set Up a Viable Student Business Incubator”

June 9 – “Palo Alto Software”

July 15 – “Entrepreneurship: A Key Component to Student Retention”

August 13 – “Augusoft Presentation”

September 10 – “Entrepreneurship: Creating Pathways from High School to Community Colleges”

September 17 – “Entrepreneurship: Creating Pathways from Community Colleges to Four-Year Schools”

NACCE connects community college administrators and faculty with knowledge and successful practices regarding entrepreneurial thinking, entrepreneurship education, and student business incubation. NACCE holds an annual conference, hosts a dynamic list-serv, develops web resources such as shared entrepreneurship curricula and syllabi for faculty, creates guides for beginning and sustaining entrepreneurship and student business incubation programs, as well as tips for grant proposals specific to entrepreneurial endeavors at community colleges.
