NACCE Offers Webinar on "Building a Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Center"

Springfield, MA – Sept. 22, 2008 – The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) will host a webinar on Thursday, October 16, 2008, on the challenges and opportunities in creating, operating and growing an entrepreneurship center while meeting the needs of the community. Entitled “Building a Comprehensive Entrepreneurial Center,” the on-line session will run from 4:00 pm to 5 pm EDT. Participation is free to NACCE members and all others can participate for a registration fee of $39.

Featured presenters will be Tim Mittan, Director of Entrepreneurship at Southeast Community College, located in Lincoln, Nebraska, and Tim Putnam, Association Director of the Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center at North Iowa Area Community College, located in Mason City, Iowa. Mittan and Putnam will outline components for building and sustaining a comprehensive entrepreneurial center at the community college level.

“This webinar will offer an overview of successful entrepreneurship centers at two different community colleges,” said NACCE Executive Director Heather Van Sickle. “It is our very first webinar and we are very excited to start using this exciting technology to bring valuable information to our members and other interested educators all across the country and beyond.”
