Using the Business Model Canvas in Entrepreneurship Curriculum

One of our top rated breakout sessions at NACCE 2017 was entitled, "Using Business Model Canvas in Entrepreneurship Curriculum". This presentation was delivered by Ana Greif, Business Development Program Manager at Pima Community College (AZ) and Lisa Kiplinger Kennedy, Small Business Deputy Sector Navigator at Victor Valley Community College (CA).

In this session, Lisa & Ana explained how the Business Model Canvas helps prototype and test business ideas to assess their viability. They explained how it's used and ways in which using the canvas can lead to more innovative businesses. They showed how a community college implemented it in its entrepreneurship program and the impact it has had.
