ALBANY - As a way of cutting down on economic fears, Gov. Sonny Perdue and other state officials and agency representatives will be in Albany today for a free Business & Housing Expo at Albany Technical College.

Perdue is set to speak at a news conference at 2:30 p.m. at the Kirkland Conference Center. He is traveling with Georgia Department of Community Affairs Commissioner Mike Beatty and Technical College System of Georgia Commissioner Ron Jackson. The trip will be Perdue's second to Albany in four months. He visited the Good Life City in February for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce's Annual Economic Development event.
