Avoiding the worst by preparing for the best; new program added

In these times of mounting crisis while energy costs rise, food shortages loom on the horizon and the economy wobbles dangerously, the wise prepare for the best while others simply worry about the worst.

The new Entrepreneurship Program at Kaua‘i Community College is an offering "to the wise”…. the ones who wish to prepare for the best. It is a program designed to provide the business skills for success in our current era of economic uncertainty. 

The new emphasis of this popular business training program is embedded in the course that will be offered starting June 16 and continuing for 10 sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It is entitled "Creative Financing: Grants, Loans and Fund Raising.”

The focus will be on "green enterprises,” ones for both profit and non-profit that seek to improve the economy while respecting the environment. Read story here
