Leslie Baker
Leslie Gray Baker accepted the position of Director of Operations for the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine Complex and Campground, the Youth Museum of Southern West Virginia and Mountain Homestead, and Wildwood House Museum in 2012.

She brought with her more than 20 years experience in marketing, program development, special event planning and exhibition management. In her new position, Baker has continued to build on the Mine and the Museum's outstanding reputation. She has strengthened relationships with other well-regarded attractions and travel destination in the area through partnerships and programming supported by the Complex's unparalleled collections.

Active within her field and the community, Baker recently joined the board of the Southern West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau, as well as the Raleigh County CVB. She is also a board member for the Salvation Army, the Raleigh County Arts Council, the Appalachian Festival, the Beckley Kids Classic Festival, Raleigh County Read Aloud, and Beckley Renaissance. She is co-director of the Rocket Boys Festival and was appointed by the Governor to the board of New River Community and Technical College in 2005.

Baker is a proud West Virginia native and has a true understanding of the State, its people, and their culture.
