Residence: Porter Ranch, CA

Organization: Santa Monica College

Occupation: Business Law Professor

First job: On the day I turned 16, I applied for and secured a job at Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor.

Philosophy: I feel that the greatest reward in life is being able to help others. I am always most productive when I see how my actions tie to benefiting someone else.

Favorite music: I love Motown music!

Favorite TV Show or Movie: A Beautiful Mind

Favorite book: Too many to name. I especially enjoy books by Scott Turow. I am grateful that I read One L before starting law school.

What got me interested in my work: Watching trials on T.V. inspired me to go into law. Not only was the drama of a trial exciting, but the opportunity to make an impact in specific cases was compelling.

Success is... As applied to a career, it is doing what you are passionate about and being able to help people through your efforts.
