Join us for our June Member Webinar entitled, "Fayetteville Tech’s Profit Exceleration Program™ Meets Small Business Owners’ Needs"!

Presenter: Kent Hill, Director, Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Small Business, Fayetteville Technical Community College

Description: Thinking about expanding your current business support center or adding more intensive programs? In this webinar, you’ll learn a lot about what to do… and what NOT to do! For 20 years, Fayetteville Technical Community College, like 54 other community colleges in North Carolina, provided local businesses and entrepreneurs with free seminars and business counseling. The NC Small Business Center Network is a state-funded initiative to deliver more localized and accessible business-building services than the SBTDC, VBOC or SBA are able to provide. Because the state regulations require the Small Business Center services to be free to the public, they often are not the in-depth series required for developing a winning business plan, for example. To remedy this, FTCC launched a new complementary school-funded Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship In early 2017… and that’s where our story begins.

Join Kent Hill, Director of the FTCC Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Small Business Center, as he recounts the lessons learned in FTCC’s venture into a new dimension of helping entrepreneurs and supporting small businesses.

1. Do you need to expand your current services and offerings?
2. How to fit your new products and services to your market’s needs.
3. The pluses and minuses of having two different, but similar, programs.
