The American Association of Community Colleges' annual Workforce Development Institute (WDI) is quickly approaching on January 30 - February 2, 2018, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside in New Orleans, LA. This conference will bring together 700+ community college leaders and national partners committed to advancing workforce and economic development initiatives to discuss the latest trends and opportunities.

The conference will feature NACCE and senior community college leadership in the session "Entrepreneurship: Engaging Industry, Government, Philanthropic and Other Partners in Your Ecosystem to Create Economic Prosperity" from 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. See description below. This workshop will define ecosystem building and an entrepreneurial mindset as essential elements in confronting challenges and seizing opportunity. DESCRIPTION: This workshop will define ecosystem building and an entrepreneurial mindset as essential elements in confronting challenges and seizing opportunity. The workshop will also introduce community college leaders from different regions of the U.S. who are advancing workforce development agendas in their regional ecosystems with entrepreneurial mindset and action.
